WELCOME TO MY PORTFOLIO!
My name is Jessica Brown and I am currently teaching middle school band in Woodstock, Illinois. My passion for music started as a young child and I am thrilled at the opportunity to instill that passion in my students. Although music is my content area, I believe that teaching my students how to become responsible, informed and creative members of the community is my first priority. The best way I can do that in a band is by emphasizing the importance of teamwork; it takes each student doing their best work to create a successful ensemble.
